Ruth is a census-designated place in White Pine County, Nevada, United States. Founded in 1903, it had a population of 440 at the 2010 census. Ruth was built as a company town for the adjacent Robinson Mine, a large open-pit copper mine, which is still in operation as of 2022. Ruth is situated 2 miles north of Stillwater Dump.

Lane City or Mineral City was a settlement in White Pine County, Nevada. It is now a ghost town. A mining camp was founded in 1869 just west of Ely, Nevada, and named Mineral City until 1876. Lane City is situated 3 miles east of Stillwater Dump.
