Wales is a town in Sanpete County, Utah, United States. The population was 338 at the 2020 census. The town is governed by a mayor and several council members. Wales is situated 5 miles north of Coal Canyon.

Ephraim is in Central Utah. In the spring of 1854, some residents of Manti went north to Cottonwood Creek and were later joined by settlers uprooted from Allred's settlement and recent immigrants from Denmark.
