Tropic is a town in Garfield County, Utah, United States, along Utah State Route 12. As of the 2020 census, the town had a population of 486. Tropic was founded in 1891. Tropic is situated 3 miles south of Dry Canyon.

Formerly known as Ruby's Inn, the town was officially incorporated on July 23, 2007, under a short-lived state law. Bryce Canyon City is situated 4½ miles west of Dry Canyon.
