Centerfield is a city in southwestern Sanpete County, Utah, United States. The population was 1,341 at the 2020 census. Although Centerfield was a town in 2000, it has since been classified as a fifth-class city by state law. Centerfield is situated 5 miles east of Lone Cedar Canyon.

Gunnison is in Central Utah. Settled in spring 1859 by a group led by Bishop Jacob Hutchinson. It was directed and named by Brigham Young for Capt. John W.
