The J. C. Penney Company Building located at 104 S. Rail Street in Shoshone, Idaho, is a historic department store building. It was built in 1918 by stonemason Ignacio Berriochoa. J. C. Penney Company Building is situated 1½ miles south of Big Drops.

Shoshone is a small town in South Central Idaho, and is the county seat Lincoln County. In contrast to the Shoshone Native American tribe for which it is named, the city's name is correctly pronounced "Show-shown", with a silent "e".
