Goat Mountain, at 11,913 feet above sea level is the second highest peak in the Pioneer Mountains of Idaho. The peak is located on the border of Sawtooth and Salmon-Challis National Forests as well as Blaine and Custer counties. Goat Mountain is situated 1½ miles south of Boulder Lake.

Salzburger Spitzl, at 11,600 feet above sea level is the 14th highest peak in the Pioneer Mountains of Idaho. The peak is located on the border of Sawtooth and Salmon-Challis National Forests as well as Blaine and Custer counties. Salzburger Spitzl is situated 2 miles southwest of Boulder Lake.
