Weippe Prairie is a large clearing, a "beautiful upland prairie field of about two by three miles bordered by farmland made from cleared pine forests", just north of the Middle Fork Clearwater River at 3,000 feet elevation near the town of Weippe in Clearwater County, Idaho.

Weippe is a city in Clearwater County, Idaho, United States. The population was 400 at the 2020 census, down from 441 in 2010. In September 1805, the starving Lewis and Clark Expedition first met the Nez Perce on the Weippe Prairie, south of the city.
