Trout Creek is a census-designated place in Sanders County, Montana, United States. The population was 261 at the 2000 census. Population increased to 277 per the United States Census Trout Creek was proclaimed "Huckleberry Capital of Montana" by the state's legislature in 1981. Trout Creek is situated 2½ miles southwest of Copper Ridge.
