Sleeping Buffalo Rock is a site on the National Register of Historic Places located near Saco, Montana. It was added to the Register in 1996. These large rocks were landmarks known to all the native tribes in this area and considered sacred. Sleeping Buffalo Rock is situated 1½ miles southwest of Nelson State Recreation Area.
