Alsea Bay Historic Interpretive Center

Alsea Bay Historic Interpretive Center is a public facility in Waldport, Oregon, administered and owned by the city of Waldport. It is adjacent to the Alsea Bay Bridge and was constructed by the Oregon Department of Transportation as part of the bridge replacement project. Alsea Bay Historic Interpretive Center is situated 2½ miles south of Twombly Creek.

The Alsea Bay Bridge is a concrete arch bridge that spans the Alsea Bay on U.S. Route 101 near Waldport, Oregon. Alsea Bay Bridge is situated 2 miles south of Twombly Creek.

Waldport is a charming if understated Central Oregon Coast town approximately 34 miles north of Florence and 16 miles south of Newport. Most likely you will just be passing through, but the Alsea Bay Interpretive Center may be worth a stop if you are interested in the construction of the Alsea Bay bridge or local history.
