Cache Valley is a valley of northern Utah and southeast Idaho, United States, that includes the Logan metropolitan area. The valley was used by 19th century mountain men and was the site of the 1863 Bear River Massacre of 250 to 400 Shoshone people.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Newton is a town in Cache County, Utah, United States. It was founded in 1869 by pioneers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The population was 899 at the 2020 census. It is included in the Logan, Utah-Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area. Newton is situated 4½ miles northwest of Cache Valley.

Smithfield is situated 5 miles east of Cache Valley.
