Sherman is a ghost town in Albany County, Wyoming, United States. Sherman is 19 miles southeast of Laramie in the Laramie Mountains and is named for Civil War and Indian Wars general William Tecumseh Sherman, purportedly at his request. Sherman is situated 2½ miles northeast of The Fill.

To the east is the Hermosa Tunnel of the Union Pacific Railroad built in 1901 when the railroad was relocated, the line is part of the First transcontinental railroad's Overland Route. Hermosa is situated 4½ miles west of The Fill.
