Girdwood Airport is a state-owned public-use airport located three miles northeast of the central business district of Girdwood, in Anchorage Borough, Alaska, United States.

Alyeska Resort is a ski resort in the Girdwood area of Anchorage, Alaska, approximately 30 miles from downtown Anchorage. Mount Alyeska is part of the Chugach mountain range and the Alyeska Resort is the largest ski area in the state.

Girdwood Depot

Girdwood Depot is a passenger railroad station in Girdwood, south of Anchorage, Alaska. The station offers service for the Alaska Railroad's Coastal Classic and Glacier Discovery routes. The station building was built between 1997 and 1998. Girdwood Depot is situated 2½ miles southwest of California Creek.

Girdwood is a community in the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska, about 30 miles south of Anchorage town center, along the Seward Highway. It is home to Alaska's largest ski area, the Alyeska Resort, which was home to the 2007 US Alpine Ski Championships.
