Buttress was built in 1940 as the relief landing field for RCAF Station Moose Jaw and Royal Air Force's, No. 32 Service Flying Training School that was stationed there. Buttress is situated 7 km southwest of Baildon.

Bushell Park is an unincorporated community in Saskatchewan. It is located on Saskatchewan Highway 2, approximately 5 km south of Moose Jaw. It is a part of 15 Wing CFB Moose Jaw, home of the Snowbirds Canadian flight demonstration team and 2 Canadian Forces Flight Training School, where Phase II Canadian Forces pilot training is conducted. Bushell Park is situated 10 km northwest of Baildon.
