Botwood is a town in north-central Newfoundland, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada in Census Division 6. It is positioned on the west shore of the Bay of Exploits on a natural deep-water harbour. Botwood is situated 7 km southwest of Burnt Arm.

In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Northern Arm had a population of 371 living in 166 of its 213 total private dwellings, a change of -12.9% from its 2016 population of 426. Northern Arm is situated 8 km west of Burnt Arm.
