Vernon Jubilee Hospital is a hospital located in Vernon, British Columbia, a city in the Okanagan region of Canada. Initial examinations for constructing a hospital in Vernon began in 1895, when residents demanded one be created.

Vernon is a city of about 45,000 people in the north end of the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Vernon is known for its lakes and beaches in the summer, and skiing and hockey in the winter.

Okanagan Landing was an unincorporated settlement and steamboat port at the north end of Okanagan Lake in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. Located southwest of the city of Vernon, it was the terminus station for the Shuswap and Okanagan Railway and served as the port and shipyard for steamboats operating to the south, as well as a transfer barge slip.
