Zincton is a ghost town in the West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia. This former mining community, on BC Highway 31A, is by road about 15 kilometres northeast of New Denver and 31 kilometres northwest of Kaslo. Zincton is situated 4½ km southeast of McEllis Creek.

Retallack is on the north side of the Kaslo River, west of the junction with Whitewater Creek, in the West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia. Retallack is situated 8 km east of McEllis Creek.
