Hillier is a community located in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Established in 1823, it was named after Major George Hillier, British Army officer and military secretary to Sir Peregrine Maitland from 1818 to 1828. Hillier is situated 4½ km northeast of Pleasant Bay.
