Ralph Klein Park is a 30 hectare wetland park in Calgary, Alberta. It is named after former premier of Alberta and mayor of Calgary Ralph Klein. Construction started in 2009, and the dedication ceremony was on July 19, 2010.
Shepard Energy Centre
Power station
The Shepard Energy Centre is a combined cycle power plant located on the east side of Calgary, Alberta. It is powered by two gas turbine generators, with two HRSGs capturing the waste heat from the exhaust-gases and producing steam for a single steam turbine. Shepard Energy Centre is situated 2½ km northeast of Shepard.
