Southampton is a Canadian rural community in , . The community is located on the east side of the Saint John River, 3.71 km south of Southampton Junction, a station located within the village of Nackawic-Millville, created when the New Brunswick Railway was constructed in the 1870s.

The world's largest axe is a sculpture of an axe located in Nackawic-Millville, , Canada. It was built in 1991, the year Nackawic was designated the Forestry Capital of Canada, as a monument to symbolize the significance of the forest industry in Nackawic and throughout New Brunswick. is situated 3½ km northeast of Southampton.
