Namaka is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada within Wheatland County. It is located approximately 10 kilometres south of Highway 1 and 55 kilometres east of Calgary. Its name means "near the water" in Blackfoot. The first school was built in 1909. Namaka is situated 10 km northeast of Strangmuir.
