Grand Bank or 'Grand Banc' as the first French settlers pronounced it, is a small rural town in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, with a population of 2,580.

Fortune is a town of about 1,400 inhabitants in Southern Newfoundland, on the northern shore of the Burin Peninsula. The fishery as the biggest industry. For travellers it's most notable for the passenger ferries to Saint Pierre and Miquelon.
