Vanastra is a dispersed rural community and unincorporated place in the municipality of Huron East, Huron County in southwestern Ontario, Canada, 3 kilometres southeast of the community of Clinton. Vanastra is situated 5 km east of Tricks Creek.

Clinton is a small town in Huron County named after Sir Henry Clinton, a Peninsular War hero. This small community gained fame as Canada's home of radar and is home to the permanent display of the School on Wheels.
Holmesville

Holmesville is a community in the Canadian province of Ontario, in the township of Central Huron, fourteen kilometres southeast of Goderich. Founded in 1832 by two Irish Canadian immigrants named Samuel and John Holmes, the community was first called Holmes Hill and Holmes Villa before receiving its current name of Holmesville in 1855. Holmesville is situated 7 km north of Tricks Creek.
