The Hooker Valley Track is the most popular short walking track within the Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park in New Zealand. Mount Wakefield is a mountain in Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, South Island, New Zealand. It is 2,058 metres high. The Mountain is named after Edward Gibbon Wakefield. Mount Wakefield is situated 2½ km southeast of Hooker Valley Track.

The Copland Pass is an alpine pass in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Known as Noti Hinetamatea by the indigenous Ngāi Tahu, the pass follows the route of the Makaawhio ancestor Hinetamatea and her sons Tātāwhākā and Marupeka. Copland Pass is situated 3 km north of Hooker Valley Track.
