Mokoia is a small settlement in south Taranaki, in the western North Island of New Zealand. It is located on State Highway 3, 10 kilometres to the east of Hāwera and about 17 km northwest of Patea. Mokoia is situated 3½ km north of Thackers Redoubt.

Manutahi is a small community in south Taranaki, New Zealand, situated on SH3 about halfway between the towns of Hāwera and Patea. The area was a significant site in the New Zealand Wars of the 1860s. Manutahi is situated 3½ km east of Thackers Redoubt.
