The Poroporo River is a river of the Gisborne District of New Zealand's North Island. It flows east from its sources in the eastern foothills of the Raukumara Range, reaching the Waiapu River close to its mouth, having shared the Waiapu's bed since the town of Tikitiki.Places of Interest

St Mary's Church is a historic 20th-century Anglican church in Tikitiki, New Zealand. The church was established as a war memorial to local soldiers of Māori descent and also commemorates the establishment of Christianity in Waiapu and the East Coast.
