Tākaka Hill

Tākaka Hill, previously also referred to as Marble Mountain, is a range of hills in the northwest of the South Island of New Zealand. Made of marble that has weathered into many strange forms and with numerous sinkholes, it is typical karst country. Tākaka Hill is situated 3½ km southeast of Upper Takaka.

Upper Tākaka is a settlement in the Tasman District of New Zealand. It is located in Golden Bay, 20 kilometres south of Tākaka. Located near the head of the Tākaka valley, Upper Tākaka is on State Highway 60, at the western end of the Tākaka Hill road.
