Kenepuru Sound
Kenepuru Sound is one of the larger of the Marlborough Sounds in the South Island of New Zealand. The drowned valley is an arm of Pelorus Sound / Te Hoiere, it runs for 25 kilometres from the northeast to southwest, joining Pelorus Sound a quarter of the way down the latter's path to the Cook Strait.| Tap on a place to explore it |

HMS Sparrow was a Redbreast-class gunboat launched in 1889, the sixth Royal Navy ship to bear the name. She became the New Zealand training ship NZS Amokura in 1906 and was sold in 1922.

Waitaria Bay is a locality in the Marlborough region of New Zealand. It lies on the northern side of Kenepuru Sound in the Marlborough Sounds. The town is one of the most isolated in the South Island to have a school. Waitaria Bay is situated 7 km northeast of Kenepuru Sound.

Ngākuta Bay is a settlement and bay in the Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand. The bay is part of Grove Arm in Queen Charlotte Sound / Tōtaranui. Picton is about 11 km to the southeast via Queen Charlotte Drive. Ngākuta Bay is situated 9 km south of Kenepuru Sound.

Waikawa is a small settlement to the north east of Picton, Marlborough, New Zealand. Waikawa Bay opens onto Queen Charlotte Sound. The New Zealand Ministry for Culture and Heritage gives a translation of "bitter water" for Waikawa. Waikawa is situated 9 km southeast of Kenepuru Sound.
