Golder Cottage is one of the oldest surviving colonial houses in Upper Hutt, New Zealand. The house is used as a museum of colonial domestic life. John Golder, a road builder in Wellington, built the cottage in 1876–77. Golder Cottage is situated 3 km southwest of Tōtara Park.

Mangaroa railway station was a single-platform rural railway station on the Wairarapa Line between Upper Hutt and Featherston in the Wellington region of New Zealand’s North Island, on the section that was replaced by the Rimutaka Tunnel deviation in 1955. Mangaroa railway station is situated 2½ km southeast of Tōtara Park.
