KAWEKA RANGE

The Kaweka Range of mountains is located in inland Hawke's Bay in the eastern North Island of New Zealand. It forms part of the mountainous spine of the North Island which extends from Wellington to East Cape, including the Tararua and Ruahine ranges.

Kaweka J, also known as Mount Kaweka or Kaweka, is the highest mountain in the Kaweka Range. Situated in the central North Island of New Zealand, it has a total height of 1,724 metres. The mountain is the highest point in the Hawke's Bay region.
