Detachment Hotel is the name used to refer to a small 1,500-square-foot bunker complex on Peanut Island, Florida. It was originally designed for use by the President of the United States, specifically John F. Detachment Hotel is situated 2,200 feet northeast of Lake Worth Inlet.

La Querida, also known as Castillo del Mar for several years, is a residence in Palm Beach, Florida, located at 1095 N. Ocean Boulevard. Completed in 1923, it was built in the Mediterranean Revival style by well-known architect Addison Mizner at a cost of $50,000. La Querida is situated 1¼ miles southeast of Lake Worth Inlet.
