Seodaemun Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 5. It is named after one of the four great gates of the circular wall surrounding ancient Seoul.

Deoksugung, also called Deoksu Palace or Deoksugung Palace, is a former royal palace in Seoul, South Korea. It was the first main palace of the 1897–1910 Korean Empire and is now a major tourist attraction. Deoksugung Palace is situated 740 metres east of Seoul.
