The Capitol at Williamsburg, Virginia, housed both houses of the Virginia General Assembly, the Governor's Council and the House of Burgesses of the colony of Virginia from 1705, six years after the colonial capital was relocated there from nearby Jamestown, until 1780, when the capital was relocated to Richmond. Capitol is situated 1½ miles west of Church of the Nazarene.

Williamsburg is a city in southeast Virginia. Settled in 1632, it was the capital of Virginia from 1699 to 1779 and in 1926, John D. Rockefeller Jr commissioned a restoration project to bring Williamsburg back to its former colonial glory.
