It was designed by architects Calvin Pollard and Gamaliel King in the Greek Revival style, and constructed of Tuckahoe marble under the supervision of superintendent Stephen Haynes. Brooklyn Borough Hall is situated 1,300 feet southwest of Namm Hall.
