Givet

Givet is a commune in the Ardennes department in northern France surrounded on three sides by the Belgian border. It lies on the river Meuse where Emperor Charles V built the fortress of Charlemont.

Doische is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Namur, Belgium. On 1 January 2006 the municipality had 2,846 inhabitants. The total area is 84.02 km. Doische is situated 6 km west of Givet.
