On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Mühledorf, Tscheppach, Brügglen, Aetingen, Aetigkofen, Bibern, Gossliwil, Hessigkofen, Küttigkofen, Kyburg-Buchegg merged into the new municipality of Buchegg.
