Dorkovo Museum in Dorkovo, Bulgaria, established in 2013 in a domed wooden structure, has a display of fossils collected from the Pliocene geological epoch of about five million years ago around the village of Dorkovo, a life-size model of a gomphothere, related to elephants, and a diorama. Dorkovo Museum is situated 3½ km north of Kostandovo.

Rakitovo is a town in the Pazardzhik Province, Bulgaria. As of 2005 the population was 8,952. It is located in the northern part of the Rhodopi mountains at 12 km to the east of Velingrad and 7 km to the southwest of the Batak Reservoir. Rakitovo is situated 3½ km southwest of Kostandovo.
