Jomfruens Egede is a manor house located three kilometres north-west of Faxe, a small town some 40 km south of Copenhagen, Denmark. It owes its current appearance to Sophie Amalie Moth who in the late 18th century altered it with the assistance of Caspar Frederik Harsdorff and Joseph Christian Lillie.

Faxe is a city in Zealand that is famous for its limestone quarry and clean water which was the base for the brewery Faxe started by Nicoline Nielsen. Faxe was called Fakse until the beginning of 2007.

Rønnede is a town in Faxe Municipality, in Region Zealand, Denmark. It is located just east of exit 37 at the European route E47 motorway, 25 km southwest of Køge, 6 km west of Faxe, 30 km northeast of Vordingborg and 19 km east of Næstved. Rønnede is situated 4½ km southwest of Faxe Municipality.
