Dachau was one of the first concentration camps built by Nazi Germany and the longest-running one, opening on 22 March 1933. Jourhaus was the name of the entrance building to the prisoners' camp at Dachau and Gusen concentration camps. It housed administrative and command offices and was the location for disciplinary hearings of prisoners.
