Westliche Karwendelspitze is a 2385 m above sea level high mountain in the Karwendel on the border between Bavaria and North Tyrol. The summit is part of the Northern Karwendel chain and is located south-east above Mittenwald, from where it can be reached by a cable car.

The Linderspitzen are three summits of the Karwendel range at the border between the Austrian state of Tyrol and the German state of Bavaria. Linderspitzen refers to three distinct peaks, the Northern Linderspitze, the Southern Linderspitze and the Middle Linderspitze.

The Scharnitz Pass is a narrow section of the upper Isar valley in the Northern Limestone Alps. It lies at a height of about 955 m on the Austro-German border between the states of Bavaria and Tyrol. Scharnitz Pass is situated 3½ km south of Mittenwald, Markt.
