Toucheng Township is an urban township in Yilan County, Taiwan. The township includes Guishan Island and Guiluan Island in the Philippine Sea. The Senkaku Islands, known in Mandarin as the Diaoyu Islands, are claimed as part of the township.

Zhuangwei Township or Jhuangwei Township is a rural township in eastern Yilan County, Taiwan Province, Republic of China, the smallest in the county. Zhuangwei is situated 7 km south of Shifu Qiao.

Yilan is a city on the east coast of Taiwan. As the area was mostly settled by Han Chinese immigrants from Zhangzhou, the local dialect of Taiwanese is noticeably more similar to that of Zhangzhou than in other parts of Taiwan.
