Diocletian’s Palace

Diocletian's Palace is an ancient Roman palace and fortress complex in Split, Croatia. It was built at the end of the third century AD by the Roman Emperor Diocletian as his retirement residence. Diocletian’s Palace is situated 1 km northeast of ACI Marina Split.

Sustipan is a small peninsula located in the southwestern part of Split. In Middle Ages there was a Benedictine monastery and a church. In the 19th century one of the most beautiful cemeteries of the whole Croatia was built in Sustipan. Sustipan is situated 410 metres west of ACI Marina Split.
