Dirck Gerritsz Laboratory is a Dutch Antarctic research facility on Adelaide Island near Rothera Research Station. It is operated by the Netherlands Polar Programme of the Dutch Research Council and British Antarctic Survey and was opened on 27 January 2013. Dirck Gerritsz is situated 560 metres south of Rothera Research Station.

Killingbeck Island is a small island lying east of Rothera Point, off the southeast coast of Adelaide Island, Antarctica. It was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1964 for John B. Killingbeck Island is situated 2½ km east of Rothera Research Station.
