Relief Pass

Relief Pass is a pass, about 1,000 m high, situated 1 nautical mile north of Bastion Hill in the Brown Hills. Explored by the Victoria University of Wellington Antarctic Expedition, 1962–63, and so named by its members because of the relief it provided after ascent to this pass.

Pleasant Plateau
Locality
Pleasant Plateau is a small, somewhat isolated ice-free plateau located close west of Blank Peaks and Foggydog Glacier in the Brown Hills. Explored by the Victoria University of Wellington Antarctic Expedition, 1962–63, who so named it because of the agreeable weather encountered there on each occasion the area was visited. Pleasant Plateau is situated 8 km northeast of Bastion Hill.
