Beacon Valley

Beacon Valley is an ice-free valley between and , in the of , Antarctica. It was mapped by the British Antarctic Expedition, 1910–13, and named by the Victoria University of Wellington Antarctic Expedition after Beacon Heights.

It was so named by the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition because its shape resembles the pyramidal ceremonial platforms used by the Aztec and Maya civilizations. is situated 3 km northwest of Beacon Valley.
