Diomedea Island is a small island lying in Ardley Cove, Fildes Peninsula, King George Island, in the South Shetland Islands. The Soviet Antarctic Expedition called the feature "Ostrov Al'batros" or "Albatross Island" in 1968, but the English form duplicates a name in the Bay of Isles.

Holy Trinity Church is a small Russian Orthodox church on King George Island near Bellingshausen Station, a Russian research station in Antarctica. It is one of the eight churches on Antarctica and the southernmost Eastern Orthodox church in the world. Holy Trinity Church is situated 3½ km northwest of Qixing Rocks.
