Svart Peak
Svart Peak is a rock peak, 210 metres high, lying a short distance inland from the coast on the southwest side of Law Promontory in Antarctica. It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers from aerial photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition in January–February 1937, and named Svartfjell (Norwegian for black mountain} because of its black appearance.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Locality
Kemp Coast is that portion of the coast of Antarctica that lies between the head of Edward VIII Bay, at 56°25′E, and William Scoresby Bay, at 59°34′E. It is named for a British sealing captain, Peter Kemp, who discovered land in this vicinity in 1833. Kemp Coast is situated 3 km west of Svart Peak.
