Belding Island is an island 6 kilometres long, lying west of the south end of Watkins Island, Biscoe Islands. It was mapped from air photos taken by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition, and named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Harwood S. Belding Island is situated 2½ km south of Yaglou Point.
