Cappellari Glacier
The Amundsen Glacier is a major Antarctic glacier, about 7 to 11 km wide and 150 km long. It originates on the Antarctic Plateau where it drains the area to the south and west of Nilsen Plateau, then descends through the Queen Maud Mountains to enter the Ross Ice Shelf just west of the MacDonald Nunataks.Places of Interest

The Hays Mountains are a large group of mountains and peaks of the Queen Maud Mountains of Antarctica, surmounting the divide between the lower portions of Amundsen Glacier and Scott Glacier and extending from the vicinity of Mount Thorne on the northwest to Mount Dietz on the southeast. Mount Gevers is situated 4 km north of Cappellari Glacier.
