Gull Channel
Gull Channel is a channel 0.1 nautical miles wide between Dynamite Island and Stonington Island, along the west coast of Graham Land, Antarctica. It was first surveyed by the United States Antarctic Service, 1939–41, and so named by them because numerous sea gulls frequented the channel area.- Type: Channel

East Base on Stonington Island is the oldest American research station in Antarctica, having been commissioned by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1939. The station was built as part of two US wintering expeditions – United States Antarctic Service Expedition and Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition.
